MALANG ODYSSEY

Our trip to Malang was truly an unforgettable experience. Known for its cool weather and beautiful scenery, Malang offers a complete range of attractions, from recreation and history to culinary delights.

Our first destination was Hawai Waterpark. The water rides were exciting and suitable for all ages. The place was spacious, clean, and had many great photo spots.

After that, we had a meal at Ocean Garden. The restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere, a wide variety of menu options, delicious food, and friendly service.

We also explored Kampung Heritage Kajoetangan, a heritage village filled with vintage-style buildings and historical vibes. It was a perfect place to learn about history while taking beautiful pictures.

Next, we visited Alun-Alun Kota Malang, one of the city’s main landmarks. The park was green, clean, and relaxing, making it a pleasant place to spend time.

We also visited Candi Singosari, a historical temple with strong cultural value and impressive ancient architecture.

The trip continued to Pasar Apung Nusantara, which offers a unique floating market concept with various traditional and modern snacks.

For culinary experiences, we enjoyed meals at Resto Bu Atik and Warung Areg, where we tasted authentic East Javanese dishes. We also relaxed at Cafe Sawah Pujon Kidul, surrounded by beautiful rice field views and fresh air.

During our stay, we checked in at HARRIS Hotel & Conventions Malang. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making our rest time very enjoyable.

For educational purposes, we visited Museum Malang Tempo Doeloe, which displays collections about the history and development of Malang.

We also had an amazing time at Batu Secret Zoo, a modern zoo with a wide variety of animals and well-organized areas. At night, we experienced the excitement of Batu Night Spectacular, filled with colorful lights and fun rides.

Before heading home, we bought Malang Strudel as souvenirs and tasted the famous meatballs at Bakso Presiden, which is uniquely located near the railway tracks.

Overall, our trip to Malang was fun, educational, and memorable. After completing all the activities, we returned home with wonderful memories from this beautiful city.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way.
