MALANG ODYSSEY

Last month, I had the chance to explore Malang with Odyssey Trip, and honestly, it was one of the most refreshing experiences I’ve had this year. From the cool mountain air to the colorful night attractions, every day felt full but still enjoyable.
Our journey started early in the morning at the airport. Everyone looked excited (and a little sleepy). After landing in Malang, I immediately noticed the difference in the air — it felt cooler and fresher compared to my city. Our tour guide from Odyssey Trip was friendly and informative, always making sure we stayed together and understood the schedule clearly.
One of the first places we visited was Malang Night Paradise. The moment the lights turned on, the whole place looked magical. There were colorful lanterns, glowing decorations, and fun rides. My favorite part was walking through the light tunnel while taking pictures with my friends. It felt like stepping into another world.
The next day was more adventurous because we went to Hawai Waterpark. The wave pool was super fun — we kept laughing every time the waves pushed us around. Even though it was tiring, it was totally worth it. After that, we explored Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan, where I saw beautiful murals and old-style houses. I loved how artistic and historical the area felt. It gave a different vibe compared to the modern attractions.
Another highlight of the trip was visiting Lembah Tumpang. The architecture looked unique, inspired by ancient kingdoms, and the scenery was very green and peaceful. It was the perfect place to slow down and just enjoy nature. I also really enjoyed spending time at Café Sawah Pujon Kidul. The view of rice fields combined with the cool weather made the atmosphere feel calm and relaxing.
Of course, no trip to Malang is complete without trying the local food. We visited Bakso President, which is famous for its meatballs served near the railway track. It was a unique experience because we could hear the train passing by while eating. The taste was delicious and comforting, especially in the cold weather.
On the last day, we stopped by Malang Strudel to buy souvenirs for family and friends. The store was crowded, but it showed how popular Malang’s snacks are. I bought some strudel and a few small keychains as memories of the trip.
Overall, my experience with Odyssey Trip in Malang was very enjoyable. The itinerary was well-arranged — there was a good balance between fun attractions, cultural spots, nature, and culinary experiences. Even though we were quite tired at the end of each day, it was the good kind of tired — the one that comes from making unforgettable memories.
If I had to rate this trip, I would give it 4.7 out of 5 ⭐. Malang truly has many sides: lively, peaceful, artistic, and delicious. And with Odyssey Trip guiding the journey, everything felt organized and exciting. I would definitely love to go back someday.
