Our trip to Malang was truly a fun, exciting, and unforgettable experience from beginning to end. We started our journey from Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport in Balikpapan and flew to Surabaya. From there, we enjoyed a short city tour and crossed the magnificent Suramadu Bridge, which connects Surabaya and Madura Island. The view from the bridge was amazing and became one of our first beautiful memories. After that, we had a delicious lunch at Bebek Suramadu Sambal Pencit before continuing our trip to Malang and checking in at HARRIS Hotel & Conventions Malang.
On the first evening, we had dinner at the legendary Bakso President, which is famous for its tasty meatballs located near the railway track. After dinner, we visited Malang Night Paradise. The colorful lights, fun attractions, and cheerful atmosphere made our night so magical and enjoyable.
The second day was full of excitement as we spent our morning at Hawai Waterpark. We played on thrilling water slides and enjoyed the refreshing pools. Later, we visited Kayutangan Heritage, where we could see beautiful old buildings and take aesthetic photos. In the evening, we relaxed at Alun-Alun Kota Malang, enjoying the fresh air and lively city atmosphere.
On the following days, we explored Lembah Tumpang Resort, which has unique traditional architecture and stunning views. We also visited Museum Angkut, where we learned about transportation history in a very fun and interactive way. At Batu Floating Market, we enjoyed local snacks while walking around the charming market area. One of the most relaxing moments was at Cafe Sawah Pujon Kidul, where we were surrounded by beautiful rice fields and cool mountain air.
We also had so much fun at Jatim Park 2, exploring the zoo and educational attractions. At night, we visited Batu Night Spectacular, enjoying fun rides, games, and colorful entertainment that made our evening even more exciting.
Throughout the entire trip, our tour guide played a very important role in making everything run smoothly. The tour guide was very friendly, patient, and always energetic. They explained every destination clearly and made sure we understood the schedule. What impressed us the most was their great teamwork and coordination with the group. They kept us united, encouraged togetherness, and made sure no one was left behind. Because of their good communication and leadership, our group stayed compact, disciplined, and always on time. They also created a warm and cheerful atmosphere, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
Before returning home, we bought souvenirs for our family and friends and had our final lunch at Ayam Kremes Potre Koneng. Finally, we flew back to Balikpapan with happy hearts and unforgettable memories.
Overall, this Malang trip was not only about visiting beautiful places but also about togetherness, laughter, and meaningful experiences. It was truly a journey that we will always remember.
