MALANG ODYSSEY

Hello everyone! This time I want to share my fun experience when my friends and I went to Malang with Malang Odyssey. We departed from Balikpapan Airport to Surabaya, then continued by bus to Malang through the Suramadu Bridge and stopped to eat delicious fried duck. When we arrived in Malang, we checked in at Harris Hotel, then went to Bakso President, which is unique because it is located near the railway so we could see trains passing by while eating. At night, we visited Malang Night Paradise and enjoyed the colorful lights and amazing rides.

 

The next day, we had fun at Hawai Waterpark with many exciting water slides and pools. After that, we visited Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan, which has an old-town atmosphere with classic houses and aesthetic photo spots. We also went to Alun-Alun Malang, a lively and comfortable place to walk around, then had lunch with a beautiful rice field view. The trip continued to Gangster Town with many unique photo spots, relaxed at Cafe Sawah with a natural view, visited a museum in Batu City to learn about history, and went to the zoo to see various animals. At night, we went to Batu Night Spectacular, which has many fun rides and beautiful colorful lanterns perfect for night photos.

 

Before going home, we bought souvenirs at Malang Strudel and then returned to Balikpapan. In my opinion, this trip was very complete because it included culinary, nature, history, and entertainment experiences in one journey. The tour guide from Malang Odyssey was friendly and explained everything clearly. I give this trip a 9/10 because it was fun and well organized. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to visit Malang!
