Last week, our class had an unforgettable trip to Yogyakarta. The tour focused on culture and history, especially visiting Keraton Yogyakarta. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were excited to explore the special atmosphere of this beautiful city.
One of the first places we visited was Malioboro Street. The street was crowded but fun. We could see many traditional souvenirs, street performers, and local food sellers. The atmosphere was lively and showed the true spirit of Yogyakarta. It was a great place to walk around and enjoy the local culture.
The highlight of the trip was visiting Keraton Yogyakarta. The building was elegant and full of history. We learned about the Sultan and the culture of the Yogyakarta Sultanate. The architecture was traditional and beautiful, making us feel like we were stepping back in time.
After that, we enjoyed the natural scenery at Parangtritis Beach. The waves were strong and the view of the ocean was amazing. We also visited Obelix Hills, where we saw a stunning sunset and took many photos with a wonderful background.
Another impressive destination was Prambanan Temple. The temple was magnificent with detailed carvings and tall structures. It showed the richness of Indonesian history and culture. Before going home, we visited Bakpia Pathok Factory to see how bakpia is made. The process was interesting, and the taste was delicious. It was the perfect souvenir from Yogyakarta.
Besides the destinations, our tour guide also played an important role in making this trip enjoyable. The tour guide was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He explained the history clearly and answered our questions enthusiastically. He also managed the schedule well, so we could visit all places comfortably without feeling rushed. His positive attitude made the trip more fun and meaningful.
Overall, the Yogyakarta Keraton Tour was a wonderful and educational experience. The combination of historical sites, natural beauty, local food, and a professional tour guide made this trip unforgettable. I highly recommend Yogyakarta as a destination for students who want to learn while traveling.
