KERATON TOUR

Honestly, after joining the virtual Keraton Tour to Yogyakarta, I understood why many people say that Jogja always feels special. From the beginning, the journey did not only introduce the destinations, but also showed the atmosphere of the city. Even though it was virtual, the presentation made me feel as if I were really walking around Yogyakarta.

 

When Malioboro was introduced, I imagined the crowded streets full of life and energy. Seeing the Keraton Yogyakarta gave me a deeper and more meaningful feeling because it truly represents Javanese culture and history. The mood became calmer when Parangtritis Beach and Obelix were presented, with their wide views that felt refreshing and peaceful. The most unforgettable part for me was Prambanan Temple. Its tall and magnificent structure made me feel amazed and proud of Indonesia’s rich history. The journey ended with a visit to the Bakpia Pathok factory, which gave a simple yet memorable touch and made the trip feel complete.

 

Besides the destinations, the way the tour was delivered also made a difference. The tour guides explained each place clearly and at a comfortable pace, so it was easy to understand the background and uniqueness of every location. Their delivery felt relaxed but still informative, which made the journey more enjoyable and not boring. Because of that, I felt more involved and truly followed the trip from beginning to end.

 

Overall, this Keraton Tour felt more than just a regular trip. It allowed me to see the cultural, historical, and natural sides of Yogyakarta in one experience. ⭐ I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars because it was well-organized, engaging, and successfully made me feel connected to the city even through a virtual journey.
