Trip to Yogyakarta started from the airport, everyone gathered with excitement to begin the journey. After arriving, we headed to Malioboro Street, one of the most iconic areas in the city. The atmosphere was lively, full of street vendors, local foods, and souvenirs that reflected the culture of Yogyakarta.
On the second day, we visited Keraton Yogyakarta, the royal palace that represents the history and traditions of the Yogyakarta Sultanate. The place gave us deeper insight into Javanese culture and heritage. Later, we continued to Parangtritis Beach, enjoying the coastal scenery and relaxing atmosphere. We also stopped by Obelix Hills, a popular viewpoint known for its beautiful sunset and panoramic views.
The next day, we explored Prambanan Temple, a magnificent Hindu temple complex with impressive architecture and historical value. After that, we visited a Bakpia Pathok Factory to see how the famous local snack is made and to buy souvenirs for family and friends.
The trip ended as we returned to the airport, bringing home memorable experiences, new knowledge about culture and history, and enjoyable moments shared together throughout the Yogyakarta journey.
The tour guides were friendly, helpful, and very informative during the trip. There were five tour guides in total two men and three women who worked well together to assist the participants. They explained each destination clearly and made the journey more enjoyable. This group also had one beautiful crew that makes my eyes can't stop looking at, Anyway sometimes the pronunciation and speaking speed were a little difficult to understand. It would be better if they spoke more slowly and used simpler English so all participants could follow the explanation easily.
