Hello everyone! I just returned from a four-day trip to Yogyakarta with Keraton Tour. This adventure began at Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan and led to this city steeped in culture and history. Yogyakarta has always been a special destination due to its friendly people and captivating natural beauty. In this review, I will share my personal experience exploring the city's captivating corners.

 

 Overall, I was very satisfied with Keraton Tour's selection of destinations, as they were iconic and provided an immersive cultural experience. However, I have a few caveats regarding communication on the ground. The guide's voice was sometimes unclear when explaining things amidst the crowd, resulting in some important information not being clearly conveyed to the participants. Despite this, the guide team worked very professionally and diligently in managing their time, ensuring the entire itinerary ran smoothly.

 

 Our trip with Keraton Tour began with our arrival at the airport on the first day, followed by a night out on Malioboro Street. On the second day, we visited the historic Yogyakarta Palace, then headed to Parangtritis Beach and Obelix Sea View for beautiful ocean views. The third day was filled with awe at the splendor of Prambanan Temple and watching the souvenir-making process at the Bakpia Pathok factory. Finally, on the fourth day, we headed to the airport for our return trip to Balikpapan.

 

Parangtritis Beach was my favorite destination for its serene atmosphere, and Obelix Sea View was the best place to eat, offering a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, Yogyakarta is a must-visit city for your vacation. I highly recommend this itinerary for those seeking a combination of historical tourism, delicious cuisine, and stunning natural beauty.
