The Keraton Tour is a travel package to Yogyakarta that offers an experience of exploring culture, culinary specialties, and popular tourist destinations. In this trip, participants visit famous places such as Malioboro Street, Prambanan Temple, and Parangtritis Beach while also trying various traditional foods from Yogyakarta. This review discusses the experiences during the tour and the places visited throughout the trip.
During the tour, there were many interesting places visited. For culinary experiences, participants tried several traditional foods such as mangut lele at Mangut Lele Mbok Marto, which is known for its rich and spicy flavor, and also ate at Bale Raos, a restaurant that serves royal Yogyakarta cuisine. In addition, participants tasted sate pang pong, bakpia pathok, and gudeg Yu Djum, which are famous traditional foods from Yogyakarta. For accommodation, the group stayed at Hotel Citra Dream, which is comfortable and has good facilities.
Besides culinary tourism, the tour also visited many famous tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. Participants walked around Malioboro Street and Teras Malioboro, which are popular areas for shopping and tourism. At night, they enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere at Angkringan Kopi Lek Man, which is famous for its “kopi joss.” Other destinations included Parangtritis Beach with its beautiful scenery, Obelix Sea View which offers a panoramic ocean view from above, and Prambanan Temple, one of the largest Hindu temples in Indonesia.
In my opinion, the Keraton Tour is very interesting because it provides a complete travel experience, including cultural tourism, natural attractions, and traditional culinary experiences in Yogyakarta. This tour also promotes the beauty and cultural richness of the city. Overall, the trip was very enjoyable and is suitable for tourists who want to experience many attractions in Yogyakarta in one journey.
