KERATON TOUR

Last holiday, we had an exciting trip to Yogyakarta, one of the most popular tourist cities in Indonesia. We started our journey from the airport and were very excited to explore the special cultural and historical places in this beautiful city. Our trip lasted four days, and we visited many famous destinations such as Malioboro Street, Keraton Yogyakarta, Parangtritis Beach, Obelix Hills, Prambanan Temple, and a Bakpia Pathok Factory before finally returning to the airport.

 

On the first day, we arrived at the airport and continued our trip to Malioboro Street. The atmosphere there was very lively and full of local culture. We could see many street vendors selling traditional food, clothes, and souvenirs. On the second day, we visited Keraton Yogyakarta, the palace of the Sultan. The building was beautiful and full of history, and we learned many interesting things about Javanese culture. After that, we went to Parangtritis Beach and Obelix Hills. The beach had strong waves and a stunning view, while Obelix Hills offered a beautiful sunset panorama that was perfect for taking pictures.

 

On the third day, we explored Prambanan Temple, one of the biggest Hindu temples in Indonesia. The temple was magnificent and had detailed carvings that told ancient stories. We felt amazed by its architecture and historical value. Before going home, we visited a Bakpia Pathok factory to see how this famous Yogyakarta snack is made. It was interesting to observe the production process, and we also bought some bakpia as souvenirs for our family. All the places we visited gave us different but unforgettable experiences.

 

In summary, our trip to Yogyakarta was very enjoyable and memorable. Each destination had its own uniqueness, from cultural heritage sites to natural attractions and local culinary experiences. This trip not only gave us happiness but also increased our knowledge about history and culture. We hope we can visit Yogyakarta again in the future.
