The trip to Semarang became a memorable travel experience as it offered a combination of city life, history, nature, and culinary delights. Upon arrival, the journey began by exploring the city atmosphere of Semarang, which felt lively yet well-organized. The visit to Eastman Coffee House provided a comfortable place to relax after traveling. The first impression of the city was warm and pleasant, with many interesting spots to explore.

 

Exploring the Kota Lama area gave a different experience, as the well-preserved colonial-style buildings created a classic and aesthetic atmosphere. Walking through this area felt relaxing and educational at the same time. However, the most unforgettable experience occurred when I visited Lawang Sewu. This historic building left a very strong impression, both in terms of its architecture and the historical stories behind it. The long corridors, large windows, and the overall atmosphere inside the building made me feel deeply connected to the past. Lawang Sewu is not only a tourist attraction but also a historical landmark that offers a meaningful and emotional experience.

 

The journey continued to Gedong Songo Temple, which offered beautiful mountain scenery and cool, refreshing air. The peaceful environment made it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. After that, having a meal at Sego Des Nami Restaurant completed the trip, as the food was simple yet delicious and represented local flavors. Before returning home, buying souvenirs at Istana Briliant became a pleasant way to end the trip and bring back memories from Semarang.

 

Overall, the trip to Semarang was a complete and enjoyable experience. Each destination had its own unique charm, from city attractions and historical sites to natural scenery and culinary experiences. Among all the places visited, Lawang Sewu remained the most memorable because it provided a unique and meaningful travel experience that will not be forgotten.
