Semarang is the capital of Central Java Province and a major metropolitan city in Indonesia, serving as a center of government, commerce, and industry. The city is also known for its numerous historical and natural tourist destinations, as well as legendary culinary delights. This trip is a complete travel experience, combining city tours, history, nature, and local cuisine.

 

The journey began in Samarinda and headed to Semarang Airport, where we checked in at the MG Hotel Semarang for our overnight stay. The first day was spent dining at a traditional Semarang restaurant and resting.

 

The next day, after breakfast at Suger Semarang, we visited Lawang Sewu Semarang to see the historical site. Afterward, we ate at Warung Special Gongso, then to Srigunting Park Semarang and shopped at Klithikan Sentir Market. That evening, we ate at Gudeg Tjitro before returning to the hotel.

 

The next day, we visited Gedong Songo Temple to enjoy the natural scenery and the temple. Then, we ate at Kedai Sego Pedes Mami, and returned to the hotel. The final day included breakfast, check-out, and a return to Samarinda via Semarang Airport.

 

 This trip provided a diverse experience, from historical tours at Lawang Sewu and Gedong Songo Temple, city tours at Srigunting Park, and shopping at Klithikan Sentir Market. Furthermore, culinary delights like Gudeg Tjitro, Warung Special Gongso, Suger Semarang, and Kedai Sego Pedes Mami added to the unique feel of Semarang. This trip was not only enjoyable but also enriched our knowledge of history and culture.

 

Overall, this trip to Semarang was enjoyable and memorable. The destinations visited were diverse, the accommodations at MG Hotel Semarang were comfortable, and the food was unique and delicious. This trip was a complete experience, combining entertainment, education, and culinary delights all in one.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way. The journey started from Samarinda with the destination of the Derawan Islands, a tourist destination well known for its clear sea and beautiful natural scenery.
