My trip to Semarang was a very memorable travel experience because each activity gave a different and meaningful impression. From exploring the lively and friendly city atmosphere to relaxing at Eastman Coffee House, the journey already felt comfortable and enjoyable. Every place I visited offered its own experience, making the trip feel complete.

 

Visiting Kota Lama gave a classic atmosphere with well-arranged colonial-style buildings. Walking around this area felt calm and also increased my knowledge about the city’s history. Lawang Sewu was also an important part of the trip because it offered a strong historical experience through its magnificent architecture and unique atmosphere. Being inside the building made me appreciate the historical and cultural value of Semarang even more.

 

The trip became more colorful with a visit to Gedong Songo Temple, which offered beautiful mountain scenery and cool air. The natural and peaceful environment gave a calming and refreshing experience. Enjoying food at Sego Des Nami Restaurant also left a special impression because of its unique and authentic taste. Before returning home, buying souvenirs at Istana Briliant became a pleasant ending to the trip.

 

Overall, the trip to Semarang left a very deep impression on me. Each destination complemented one another and created a valuable experience, from city tourism and history to nature and culinary experiences. All the moments of this trip will always be remembered as a special and unforgettable experience.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way.
