I went to Semarang with a tour guide from Panorama Tour on a memorable travel journey. This trip offered a diverse experience, combining urban life, historical values, natural beauty, and local cuisine. Upon arriving in Semarang, the city immediately gave a friendly impression with its lively yet well-organized atmosphere. We took a short break at Eastman Coffee House, a comfortable place to relax after the trip.

 

Our next destination was the Old Town area, which is famous for its colonial-style buildings. The classic atmosphere made walking around this area feel relaxed while also adding to our knowledge of Semarang’s history. However, among all the places we visited, Lawang Sewu was the most impressive. This historic building has magnificent architecture and a strong historical background. The long corridors and large windows inside created an atmosphere that made me feel as if I were experiencing life in the past. Visiting Lawang Sewu was a deep and meaningful experience.

 

The journey then continued to Gedong Songo Temple, which offers beautiful mountain scenery with cool and refreshing air. The peaceful environment made this place perfect for taking a short break and enjoying nature. After that, we enjoyed a meal at Sego Des Nami Restaurant. The food was simple yet delicious and reflected the distinctive local flavors. Before heading home, we stopped by Istana Briliant to buy souvenirs as keepsakes from the trip.

 

Overall, the trip to Semarang with Panorama Tour provided a complete and enjoyable travel experience. Each destination had its own unique attraction, ranging from city tourism and historical sites to natural scenery and culinary experiences. Among all the places visited, Lawang Sewu was the most memorable because it offered a unique historical experience that is hard to forget.
