Some time ago, I joined an online trip with GoWander ID to Derawan Island, East Kalimantan. This trip felt very enjoyable because I was able to enjoy the beauty of the sea as well as the atmosphere of a well-known marine tourism destination. From the moment I arrived in Derawan, the holiday atmosphere could already be strongly felt.

 

Upon arriving in Derawan, we went straight to the hotel to rest. The hotel where we stayed was quite comfortable, clean, and had adequate facilities. The hotel service was also good and friendly. The location was strategic and close to the beach, so we could easily enjoy the sea view. After resting, we ate together at a restaurant around the accommodation and tried Derawan’s seafood dishes, which tasted delicious and were quite filling.

 

The next day, we enjoyed the beauty of the Derawan sea. The seawater was very clear with a turquoise-blue color, the sand was white, and the atmosphere was still natural. We did several activities such as walking along the beach, taking photos, and enjoying the underwater scenery. The beauty of coral reefs and small fish made the atmosphere even more amazing.

 

After being satisfied with marine tourism activities, we visited several places around Derawan to buy souvenirs. There were various choices of typical Derawan souvenirs, such as handicrafts, T-shirts, and local snacks. The prices were quite affordable and the product quality was good.

 

In my opinion, this trip to Derawan was very memorable. The services from the GoWander ID team were quite good and well-organized. The beauty of the sea, the comfort of the hotel, and the local cuisine became the main advantages of this trip. However, the time spent at several places felt quite limited, so we could not enjoy all destinations optimally.

Overall, the trip to Derawan with GoWander ID was an enjoyable experience and worth recommending. Derawan Island is very suitable for tourists who love natural beauty and marine tourism. With good planning, a trip to Derawan will be an unforgettable holiday experience.

The text would be more interesting if the writer added more personal feelings or specific moments that stood out during the trip. In addition, a bit more variation in vocabulary could help make the writing more engaging and less monotonous.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way.
