Hi everyone. A while ago, I joined a trip organized by GoWander ID to Derawan, a natural tourist destination with beautiful sea views and small islands. From the beginning, the trip felt exciting because Derawan is well known for its nature. As the trip continued, the calm atmosphere, fresh sea air, and simple island life slowly became the most enjoyable parts of the experience. Without realizing it, Derawan left a strong impression on me through its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.

 

The trip gave me many new experiences while traveling to Derawan by land and sea. I spent a lot of time enjoying the journey itself, seeing the views along the way, and feeling excited about arriving at the islands. GoWander ID provided transportation, accommodation, and meals, which made everything much easier for me. I stayed in a simple accommodation near the sea, so I could enjoy the fresh air, listen to the waves, and look at the ocean every day. I also had time to relax and take photos, which made the stay even more enjoyable.


I visited several places such as Derawan, Sangalaki, Kakaban, and Maratua. Each place felt different to me. I enjoyed the clear sea water, calm beaches, and unique experiences like visiting the jellyfish lake. I also tried snorkeling, watched many colorful fish, and spent time walking along the beach. The food during the trip was also enjoyable, especially seafood and grilled fish, which matched the island atmosphere. Eating together after the activities made me feel happy and full of energy for the next day.


For me, Derawan is a great destination for people who love nature and calm places. I felt relaxed while walking along the beaches and listening to the sound of the waves at night. The snorkeling and island visits were exciting, even if they sometimes made me tired. I think traveling with GoWander ID made the trip easier because they arranged transportation, accommodation, and meals, so I could focus on enjoying everything. Even with long travel and busy days, the natural beauty of Derawan made every moment worth it.

The trip to Derawan gave me many memorable experiences. The calm atmosphere, beautiful sea, and peaceful islands made me feel happy and relaxed. Enjoying the beaches, snorkeling, and tasting the local seafood created moments that I will always remember. Traveling with GoWander ID made the trip smooth and comfortable. Derawan is a special place where anyone can enjoy nature and take a break from their daily routine.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way.
