This review tells about my experience joining a trip to Derawan with GoWander.id, one of the most beautiful marine tourism destinations in Indonesia. The trip was not only enjoyable, but also gave me many unforgettable memories. Through this review, I would like to share how the journey went, what activities we did, and why Derawan is a place that is truly worth visiting.

 

The journey to Derawan began early in the morning. My friends and I gathered at the meeting point and then continued the trip by bus with all the tour participants. The atmosphere on the bus was lively and full of excitement, as everyone was eager to finally reach this dream destination. Along the way, the tour guide team from GoWander.id helped organize the group while also giving us an overview of Derawan and explaining the itinerary for the trip.

 

After arriving in Derawan, we continued our journey by boat to reach several tourist spots before using other types of transportation. Throughout these activities, the team from GoWander.id always accompanied us to make sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Our first activity was snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. There, I could see green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish swimming freely among the coral reefs, and I even had the chance to take some photos. After that, we visited Maratua Island, which was just as beautiful with its white sandy beaches and calm, mirror-like sea. I was especially impressed by the clean boat facilities, the well-organized schedule, and the clear explanations given by the GoWander.id team about the marine ecosystem around Derawan. Although the sea currents were quite strong in some spots, this small inconvenience was easily forgotten because of the breathtaking natural scenery.

 

In my opinion, this trip left a very deep impression on me. The GoWander.id team was not only friendly but also very helpful whenever we wanted to learn more about marine flora and fauna. They always made sure that all participants felt safe and comfortable during the activities and also helped capture our best moments while snorkeling and visiting the small islands. For me, Derawan is not just an ordinary tourist destination, but a place that makes me feel closer to nature and appreciate the beauty of Indonesia’s seas even more.

 

Overall, I highly recommend traveling to Derawan with GoWander.id to anyone who is looking for a peaceful yet adventurous vacation. Derawan offers a perfect combination of stunning natural scenery, enjoyable activities, and professional tour guide services. From watching beautiful sunsets over the sea to seeing turtles in their natural habitat, Derawan truly provides an unforgettable experience.
