The journey begins at the meeting point in Berambai and heads to Sangatta by bus, then continues to Tanjung Batu Harbor for a speedboat crossing. This route is quite tiring due to the long journey. However, the fatigue is immediately rewarded by the beauty of the island and the diving experience at Kakaban Island, teeming with beautiful jellyfish.

 

 The breakfast at the accommodation is a favorite due to its delicious flavors. You'll also be treated to an abundance of seafood available everywhere. Although a little boredom can arise from the busy beach and ocean schedule that lasts until the fifth day, the sight of extraordinary marine life remains awe-inspiring.

The journey started from Samarinda to Tanjung Batu by land, which took quite a long time, but it never felt tiring thanks to the beautiful natural scenery of East Kalimantan along the way. From Tanjung Batu Port, we continued the trip by speedboat to Derawan Island, and the moment we were out at sea, the clear blue water and tropical atmosphere immediately set the mood for an unforgettable trip.   Derawan Island made a great first impression.
