A Memorable Journey to Labuan Bajo
Last month, I finally visited Labuan Bajo, one of the most popular tourist destinations in East Nusa Tenggara. I spent three days there with my friends, guided by Redina, Adel, Baihaqi, and Wahyu. Labuan Bajo is well known for its beautiful islands, clear sea, and unique wildlife, which made the trip very exciting from the beginning.
The journey started from Balikpapan to Surabaya with Redina, then continued to Labuan Bajo. Although the trip was quite long, we enjoyed it because of the excitement to reach our destination. On the first night, Adel took us to Kampung Ujung, a famous place for fresh seafood. We had dinner by the sea while enjoying the calm atmosphere and cool night air.
On the second day, Baihaqi guided us to Komodo Island and Atlantis. Komodo Island is the natural habitat of Komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the world. Seeing them walking freely in the wild was a thrilling experience. After that, we explored Atlantis, which is known for its clear water and colorful marine life. Later, Redina joined us again when we visited Pink Beach. The pink sand and clear sea made the beach look very unique. We ended the day with a hike on Padar Island. In my opinion, Padar Island was the most impressive place because the view from the top was really amazing.
On the last day, Wahyu accompanied us to Batu Cermin Cave. The cave reflected sunlight on its walls, creating a mirror-like effect. Before leaving Labuan Bajo, we visited a local souvenir market to buy some souvenirs.
Overall, the trip to Labuan Bajo was a very meaningful experience for me. The beautiful scenery, interesting destinations, and helpful tour guides made the journey enjoyable. This trip helped me appreciate the natural beauty of Indonesia, and the moments shared with friends and tour guides will always be remembered.
