Our trip began in Balikpapan with a flight to Komodo Airport, transiting at Juanda International Airport. Upon arrival, we went straight to our accommodation to check in and take a short rest. In the afternoon, we explored the city area to get to know the local atmosphere and purchase some necessities. In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant that served traditional dishes with unique and delicious flavors. After dinner, we returned to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next day’s activities.
The following morning, we traveled by land transportation to Labuan Bajo to start our main adventure. From the harbor, we continued our journey by boat to several nearby islands. Our first destination was Padar Island, where we hiked to the top and enjoyed breathtaking views of the hills and surrounding sea. We spent time taking photos and appreciating the natural scenery before continuing to the next destination. We then visited a conservation area where we were able to see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, accompanied by a guide. This experience was exciting and left a lasting impression on us. After completing the island tour, we returned to Labuan Bajo and spent the late afternoon relaxing at a seaside area known for its calm and pleasant atmosphere. In the evening, we went back to the hotel to rest.
On the last day, we visited several land attractions around Labuan Bajo. One of them was Batu Cermin Cave, which is famous for the reflection of sunlight on its rocky walls, creating a beautiful and unique view. The cave was also a great spot for taking photos. Afterward, we bought souvenirs as keepsakes and enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the airport.
The trip ended with our journey back to Balikpapan from Komodo Airport. Overall, this trip was very enjoyable and meaningful. The stunning natural landscapes, the local culture, and the memorable experiences made this journey truly unforgettable.
