Hello friends, let us flash back to the time when I joined a trip to Labuan Bajo with Elvara Trip. It is a moment that I cannot forget because the journey was truly exciting.
On the first day, we gathered at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport. There were so many people joining the trip; if counted, there were about 34 participants. Then we transited at Juanda International Airport and arrived at Komodo Airport. Our journey continued by land because our accommodation was already nearby, and we arrived at Sunset Hill Hotel. The view from my room window was truly beautiful, and it made me reluctant to go outside.
We were given some time to rest, and in the evening we had dinner at the Kampung Ujung culinary tourism area. I slightly forgot what foods we ate, but I remember that there were many tempting food ingredients there. After that, we returned to our accommodation and slept.
On the second day in the morning, we went together to Labuan Bajo Harbor by bus. When we arrived there, I could not take my eyes off the beautiful and natural scenery. The sea was very clean and blue, and during the trip I kept taking photos. Then we went to Long Beach on Padar Island, climbed the hill, played around, and soaked our feet in the water. After finishing our activities, we had lunch on the boat while enjoying the view. We ate banana with cheese and drank fresh orange ice.
We traveled again to Pink Beach and met several Komodo dragons there. This was not a very pleasant experience for me as a fearful person, but it was still a new and unexpected experience. After that, we returned to Labuan Bajo Harbor. The journey felt long and boring because the tour guide was also not very interactive. In the evening, we had dinner at Atlantis Beach Club, a place that is classic and elegant. I really liked the atmosphere and the food was quite delicious, and I could not stop looking at the photos I took. After that, we returned to the hotel and slept.
On the third day, we went to a souvenir shop to buy some things for people at home, and then the trip continued to Goa Pindul. There, I was actually not very interested and felt sleepy because the tour guide did not explain clearly what he was talking about. The journey felt quiet and not very enthusiastic as we headed to La Moringa Labuan Bajo for lunch, but the turmeric fried rice there was very delicious and unique, and I hope I can try it again someday. After that, we returned to Komodo Airport, transited at Juanda Airport, then to Sepinggan Airport, and finally arrived back in Balikpapan.
