ELVARA TRIP

Traveling to Labuan Bajo was an enriching journey that left a deep impression on me. For three days, I explored stunning destinations while learning to admire the beauty of nature and local culture that coexist harmoniously in this part of Indonesia.

 

First Day: A Long but Exciting Start

The journey began with a flight from Balikpapan to Surabaya alongside Redina. After a short layover, we continued our trip to Labuan Bajo. Although the trip took quite some time, the excitement of reaching our destination kept us energized. Once we arrived, we headed straight to the hotel to rest. Later that night, Adel invited us to Kampung Ujung, where we enjoyed a delightful seafood dinner by the sea, accompanied by a calm atmosphere and fresh ocean air.

 

Second Day: Adventures in Nature

The second day became the highlight of the entire trip. Together with Baihaqi, we sailed to Komodo Island and Atlantis. Seeing Komodo dragons roaming freely in their natural environment was both thrilling and unforgettable. We then spent time exploring the underwater beauty of Atlantis, which offered mesmerizing marine life and clear waters.

 

Next, Redina joined us on a visit to Pink Beach. The soft pink-colored sand and transparent sea created a unique and magical view. The day ended with a hike on Padar Island. Although the climb was exhausting, standing at the top and witnessing the dramatic landscape of hills and multi-colored bays made every step worthwhile.

 

Third Day: Final Exploration

On the last day, Wahyu accompanied us to Batu Cermin Cave. The cave amazed us with its reflective walls that sparkle when sunlight enters, creating a mirror-like illusion. Before leaving Labuan Bajo, we spent some time at a local souvenir market to buy keepsakes. Eventually, we boarded our flight back to Balikpapan, officially ending our journey.

 

Closing Reflection

This trip to Labuan Bajo was more than just a vacation—it was a meaningful experience that deepened my appreciation for Indonesia’s extraordinary natural treasures. The shared moments with friends strengthened our bonds and left us with memories that will remain unforgettable for a lifetime.
